In Pharmacists' Lawsuit, an Empty Hand
In the case of the recent lawsuit brought by independent pharmacists against two dozen leading US drug companies and a handful of major wholesalers, one thing the lawyers for the defense certainly didn't anticipate was the apparently slip-shod case presented by the plaintiff's counsel. Thus, all but four of the drug companies wound up settling a case that would eventually be dismissed at trial.
