Implemed's 510(k) for the Olimpicc antimicrobial peripherally inserted central venous catheter should be cleared by the end of the year, the company says. Alongside data from an initial safety study, the submission, currently in development, will include results from two ongoing European trials that are evaluating the device's antimicrobial effectiveness.
