House regulatory affairs subcommittee Chair Candice Miller (R-Mich.) accuses CMS of having "failed to seriously evaluate the additional burden" on suppliers of information collection requirements in CMS' April 1 final rule on "Conditions for Payment of Power Mobility Devices." Miller's May 19 letter responds to the requirement for suppliers to obtain a prescription and accompanying documents with a beneficiary's medical history before giving them a power mobility device.
