Mentor is set to acquire the developer of the Perthese silicone gel breast implant Perouse Plastie (Bornel, France), in a bid to augment its presence in the surgical aesthetics market. The transaction, expected to close this month, will see Mentor acquire all the shares of Perouse for Euro42m ($57m), which includes the assumption of Euro3m in net debt.
