More than 600,000 public limited liability companies across Europe are to benefit from no longer having to order costly expert reports in cases of merger and divisions unless shareholders demand it. The European Parliament has accepted, through a fast-track procedure, one of ten Commission fast-track proposals presented a few months ago to cut red tape.
