The Spanish ministry of agriculture, fisheries and foods (MAPA) has signed an agreement with Universidad Complutense in Madrid to research and map the evolution of tuberculosis in animals, in a bid to better standardise diagnostics. These data might interface with human diagnostic technologies and disease surveillance, but at the time of going to press today, MAPA was not able to explain how.
