EBM Technologies has received US 510(k) clearance for its UniWeb PACS system. The product is a web-based mammography picture archiving and communications system that serves as a single point of deployment for physicians. Using UniWeb, doctors can review multi-modalities and multi-vendors on a single interface, said the Honolulu, Hawaii company. The UniWeb system also supports all CAD vendor markings and is able to distinguish CAD marks from different vendors to enhance diagnosis. The product is already CE marked for sale in Europe.
