Falcon Surgical, the Sialkot, Pakistan device manufacturer, is urgently recalling certain lots of its Miller single-use paediatric laryngoscope blades, sizes 00, 0 and 1. Sixteen lots are affected by two possible manufacturing faults related to "poor focus of the beam" or "heating of the bulb", according to the August 9 notice issued by Falcon.
