Argentine diagnostic imaging services provider Fundacion Cientifica del Sur (FCS) has been offering free mammography screening throughout the month of March, in support of a campaign to increase public awareness of the disease and its management. The campaign is headed by breast cancer care pressure group Movimiento Ayuda de Cancer de Mama (MACMA). FCS claims to be the leading provider of diagnostic imaging in the southern area of greater Buenos Aires. The two centres it operates, located in Lomas de Zamora (headquarters) and Adrogue, are attended by some 170,000 patients per year.
