Patients in Germany can play a greater role in overcoming budgetary restraints that are preventing them from gaining access to innovative medical technologies. This was the conclusion arrived at last week in Berlin by medical experts at a seminar hosted by Aktion Meditech, a co-operative initiative between patient groups, healthcare experts, medical devices industry associations and companies.
