The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is holding a workshop on September 30 to help staff begin the process of writing guidance documents on factors the agency considers in making a national coverage determination (NCD). The workshop is being held to ensure that the agency is engaging interested stakeholders early in the process, the agency explained in its September 21 announcement.
