BioSphere Medical (Rockland, Massachusetts) has appointed Martin Joyce as vice-president and CFO, effective immediately. Mr Joyce joins the producer of bioengineered microspheres for occluding bloody supply in the treatment of uterine fibroids, tumours and vascular malformations from the Stratex Group, where he was a co-founder and managing partner.
