Reading, Pennsylvania-based Arrow International, a manufacturer of catheters for cardiac care, has made several management changes. Frederick Hirt has been promoted to senior vice-president of finance and CFO. He will also continue his role as a member of the management executive committee. Fellow member Carl Staples, head of human resources, has been appointed senior vice-president of HR. Philip Croxford has been promoted to group vice-president of critical care and cardiac assist and will become a member of the committee. James Hatlan has been promoted to senior vice-president of manufacturing and also becomes a member of the committee. The firm also announced the retirement of Philip Fleck, Arrow's president and COO, effective December 31 2004.
