Hewlett-Packard has produced a website with compliance information on the so-called millennium bug, specifically for medical customers. While the company says that all current H-P products are certified "Year 2000 Compliant" and the company has already tested 90% of its current products, obsolete products will not be made compliant through upgrades. Instead the company plans to offer trade-in agreements which will be posted on its website from this summer. Equipment still under service support will be upgraded with software patches.
