Technical Chemicals & Products (TCPI), which was given FDA approval to market a Protein-in-Urine home screening test, will begin sales of the product in late 1998 or early 1999. The home test, which will sell for $9.99 for three test strips and indicates for possible kidney, bladder, liver or diabetic disorders, is the third test that TCPI has added to its range in the past 12 months. The Pompano Beach, Florida-based company says that the launches are a conscious move to commercialise its product portfolio.
