Aethon adds Gentile as vice-president of sales

Aethon, a firm that develops robotic technology for hospitals, has appointed Joseph Gentile vice-president of sales. Mr Gentile most recently served as vice-president of sales for web-based healthcare technology firm TeleTracking Technologies. He has also held executive sales positions at imaging firms Merge eFilm, Picker International, Marconi Medical and IMACS Medical. Aethon’s technology is based around its proprietary autonomous mobile robot, known as TUG. This technology can be used to deliver, track and retrieve medications, supplies, meals and equipment, according to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based Aethon.
