The Pharmaceutical Research & Manufacturers of America is understood to have finalized its plans to hire Rep. Billy Tauzin (R-La.) as CEO of the trade association. However, no announcement is expected before the Dec. 4 Louisiana state run-off election to fill Tauzin's seat, and potentially until Tauzin formally leaves Congress in January.
