The Phoenix, Ariz.-based manufacturer and marketer of "functional" chewing gums has formed an agreement with MDR/Transmedia to produce, market and distribute CigArrest gum through its worldwide sales network. Gum Tech is planning to launch the gum internationally by the end of 1997. Gum Tech's products are marketed in Japan, South Korea, Russia, Great Britain, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe and the Pacific Rim.
