Den-Mat Rembrandt "antibacterial" Daily Whitening gel arriving on store shelves in August.

This article was originally published in The Rose Sheet

Executive Summary

REMBRANDT DAILY WHITENING GEL WITH "ANTIBACTERIAL" CLAIMS ON COUNTER IN AUGUST, replacing Rembrandt Brushing gel, which debuted in 1994. Daily Whitening's improved formula features a clear gel which allows it to dispense and stay on the toothbrush easier than Brushing gel's opaque texture, the company explained. The original product will be phased out this summer. Formulated with the anticavity agent sodium monofluorophosphate and the whitening ingredient peroxide, Daily Whitening "whitens, cleans and protects," according to the company. Distributed in mass outlets nationwide, the gel will cost a suggested $4.99 for a 2.5 oz. tube.
