National Organic Program

Cosmetics, body care and supplement producers and handlers "could be certified under USDA final rule establishing national standards for organic ingredients and products." Published in the Dec. 21 Federal Register, the reg states makers and suppliers of agricultural items "might find an increased market value for their products because of the additional assurance afforded by certification."
