Executive Summary
First summit on natural cosmetics and sustainable development will take place Nov. 29-Dec. 1 in Paris, organizers Beyond Beauty Paris and Organic Monitor announce. The first two days of summit meetings are designed to help aspiring natural product marketers in "understanding what a natural cosmetic is and learning to overcome the problems relating to the formulation of natural cosmetics, evaluating the market potential of natural cosmetics, studying the importance of sustainable development [and] developing market strategies," among other essentials, according to Oct. 16 announcement. The last day of the summit consists of an interactive workshop that will serve to "establish a list of the constituents of natural and organically grown products and to zero in on the major issues encountered by the cosmetics industry."
