Avon's Natural Impact makeup launching this spring "pairs bold colors with more muted hues for a naturally beautiful balance," the company says.

Global Creative Color Director Jilian Dempsey explains: "Natural Impact is all about contrast. Both neutrals and brights have been popular the past few springs, but this collection finally brings them together. The hues are bright, yet wearable."

New Jilian Dempsey Signature Horizon Blush ($7.99), in Coral Horizon and Pink Horizon shades, consists of "a traditional cheek color and highlighter in one."

"Ultra-glossy" Glazewear Liquid Lipcolor will retail for $6 in four new shades, including Boysenberry and Cantaloupe. Glazewear Lipstick ($8) "combines the high shine of a gloss with the rich, long-lasting color of a lipstick"; it comes in Nude Attitude, Punch, Rosewood and Plastic Pink shades.

For the eyes, Avon will offer its Perfect Wear Eyewriter Liquid Eye Liner and True Color Eyeshadow Singles for $7.50 and $4, respectively.

The former - available in Evening Black or Beaming Bronze - "lines eyes with waterproof, smudge-proof, smooth rich color that glides on evenly and lasts all day."

The Cantaloupe, Boysenberry, Smoky Slate and Spring Pink eye shadows are packaged in a compact with an application brush and are "ideal for blending together and layering," Avon says.

Finally, Nailwear Nail Enamel comes in four hues and costs $4.50.

The line's "sultry hot pinks and dramatic corals that, upon first glance, may seem bright ... are specially designed to go on sheer and translucent, adding delicate yet impactful bursts of color to your day or nighttime makeup looks," the firm says. The Natural Impact products will roll out in March.

In February, Avon will introduce its SuperShock Mascara. For $8.50, the product gives lashes 12 times their natural volume using a flexible bristle brush that is twice the size of the leading competitor and a dual formula that coats lashes with a thickening base coat and a volumizing mascara in one step.
