This article was originally published in The Rose Sheet

Executive Summary

FDA will upgrade its information technology and data center management services in the next 10 years with the help of 10 recently named contractors that will modernize the agency's data management, warehousing, IT infrastructure and IT security, agency announces Sept. 30. FDA will pay the contractors, who will compete for technology task orders, up to $2.5 billion. The agency says the upgrades - including a transition of all software applications and hosting operations to new data centers in the next two years - will ensure the safety of all FDA regulated products
