Lithuania raises insurers' compensation of medical service costs

Lithuania's health ministry has raised the level of compensation of some medical service costs provided by the national health insurance fund (VLK). The total compensation cost for medical services provided in the second half of this year is estimated to be Lt45.7 million ($16.3 million), Jurate Sabaliene, the head of the VLK's international relations department said.
