Registration and Vigilance keep IMB busy

The Irish Medicines Board received and assessed some 1,335 vigilance reports for medical devices in 2009, up from 1,160 the previous year1. Also, almost 600 new medical devices were registered with the IMB last year, well over double the number registered in 2008.
