Executive Summary
Orthovita Inc. (US orthopedics company that went public on Easdaq in 1998) grossed $7mm in the private sale of 1.2mm common shares to the Rennes Foundation, a private organization in Liechtenstein that already owned a small percentage of the company's stock. Rennes paid $5.90 per share (market price); Orthovita's 13G filing with the SEC shows that the foundation now owns 11.9% of the company.
