Immunex (immune system therapeutics) netted $774mm through a follow-on offering of 20mm shares at $39.75 apiece (the securities were filed under a shelf registration in August). American Home Products is selling 60.5mm of its Immunex shares, including a 10.5mm share overallotment, and will have a 41% stake in the company. The company had planned to price the shares at $46.19, looking to gross about $897mm.
