Dentsply International (dentistry products) has agreed to acquire AstraZeneca's business in dental local (injectable) anesthetics, including trademark rights, and could pay as much as $136.5mm plus royalties on AZ's Phase III product Oraqix, a gel anesthetic for scaling and root planing.
