In its efforts to expand its capacities in the field of interventional medicine, Boston Scientific (minimally-invasive interventional medical devices) has acquired its fourth company in less than a month. It bought privately held Catheter Innovations (formerly BMW Medical; catheter-based drug delivery) for $50mm.
