Executive Summary
MedPointe Capital Partners (partnership of senior health care industry executives) has acquired Carter-Wallace's health care business, namely Wallace Laboratories (pharmaceuticals) and Wampole Laboratories (in vitro diagnostics), in a transaction valued at $408mm. The acquired business will be called MedPointe Inc.
