St. Jude Medical (cardiac devices; supplies 80% of the US market for mechanical heart valves) signed an exclusive US agreement to promote J&J company LifeScan's (self-tests for glucose levels and blood coagulation) Harmony monitoring system. The device measures the blood coagulation rate of patients who take the blood thinner warfarin.
