Executive Summary
Hyseq (gene sequencing) and Affymetrix have settled all litigation (which began in March 1997) between the two companies by establishing a licensing agreement. Affymetrix gets rights to Hyseq's array-related patents and Hyseq gets access to Affymetrix's IP for pharmaceutical development.
