Medical device company CryoVascular Systems has licensed Boston Scientific exclusive worldwide distribution rights to PolarCath, its peripheral CryoPlasty system to treat clogged arteries in extremities, such as the legs. BS made an equity investment in CryoVascular and has an option to buy the company.
