Executive Summary
J&J is buying out Merck's 50% equity stake in Johnson & Johnson MSD Europe, the joint venture they established in 1991 to market Merck products that switched from prescription to OTC. The new company, which will be 100% owned by J&J, will be named McNeil Europe.
