Meda AB has acquired all shares of fellow Swedish specialty pharma company Recip AB for a total of SEK3.97bn ($619.7mm), almost five times Recip's 2006 revenues, paying SEK2.65bn in cash for all Recip shares; assuming SEK832mm in Recip debt; and issuing SEK491mm worth of Meda shares (5.7mm shares valued at SEK86.25 apiece).
