Executive Summary
Spinal device developer Benvenue Medical Inc. raised $35.5mm in its Series C financing co-led by new backers Domain Associates and Technology Partners, which each add a board member and were joined by returning shareholders Versant Ventures and DeNovo Ventures. Benvenue will use the funds to complete clinical development of its Kiva system as an alternative to balloon kyphoplasty for vertebral compression fractures.
