Series C round brings over $100mm to RefleXion Medical
Executive Summary
Radiation technology firm RefleXion Medical Inc. raised $102.6mm through its Series C round. TPG's Rise Fund led and was joined by T. Rowe Price, GT Healthcare Capital Partners, and all existing investors including Sofinnova Partners, KCK Group, Venrock, Pfizer Venture Investments, and Johnson & Johnson Innovation – JJDC Inc. The company is developing its biology-guided radiotherapy system (BgRT), which uses a PET imaging agent and targeted therapeutic x-ray to deliver high doses of radiation to multiple lesion sites, while sparing surrounding healthy tissue. The company has now raised $166mm through three venture rounds.
