Kieran Gallahue is being promoted to CEO of ResMed, a Poway, California-based specialist in devices for sleep apnoea and other respiratory conditions, effective January 1 2008. Mr Gallahue, currently president and COO of the ResMed Global division, will replace company founder Dr Peter Farrell, who will remain as executive chairman of the board until June 30, becoming non-executive chairman thereafter. Mr Gallahue joined as president and COO of the Americas division in January 2003.
