Executive Summary

Portland Orthopaedics, a Sydney, Australia-based orthopaedic device maker, is to see its products distributed by the US subsidiary of Swiss group Plus Orthopaedics AG, the world's sixth largest joint implants company. The deal is for a minimum term of three years and gives Plus Orthopaedics exclusive rights to sell, among other products, Portland's DTC revision hip, M-COR primary hip, Asian hip series and its Equator Plus Cup in the US.
