The European association for bioindustries, EuropaBio, has appointed four new members to its main board. The Brussels, Belgium-based association has named Jack Huttner, Bernward Garthoff, Tom Saylor and Odd Rodseth to the board. Mr Huttner is vice-president of corporate communications and public affairs for Genencor International. Dr Garthoff is responsible for technology at Bayer's CropScience division. Mr Saylor is CEO of Arecor, an injectibles technology firm, and finally, Mr Rodseth is CEO of Norweigan firm AquaGen. These appointments bring the total number of elected members to 21.
