FDA OTC LABEL COMPREHENSION, PREFERENCE STUDIES INVOLVING OVER 2,000 SUBJECTS will evaluate the format changes recently proposed by the agency and gather information about consumer preferences for label design variations. Two studies are planned, according to a May 12 FDA description of the research. The agency disclosed its intention to conduct consumer studies in its Feb. 27 proposal on OTC label reform ("The Tan Sheet" March 3, p. 1).
