Alfred Sung: Pure women's scent launch supported by a $1.1 mil. advertising budget, according to distributor Riveria Concepts. Spots will appear in October through December issues of Glamour, Vogue and Vanity Fair, the firm said. Pure, a "textured woody floral," opens with top notes of topaz, tangerine, tegetes and to-yo-ran orchid, leading to a heart of gardenia, freesia, osmanthus, pineapple lily and Chinese peony. The drydown consists of delicate woods, cinnamon ceylon, and amber accords. Supplied by Firmenich, the scent will debut in 500-550 North American doors including Dillard's and Macy's in October. The six-SKU Pure line includes a 1 oz. parfum spray priced at $95, a 3.4 oz. eau de parfum spray for $65 and a 1.7 oz. edp spray for $49.
