Executive Summary
Health & beauty care sales rose by more than 15% in supermarkets with a pharmacy in the store, according to the results of the Food Marketing Institute's 1998 Supermarket Pharmacy Survey. Of the 56% of respondents that had calculated the impact of pharmacy on H&BC sales, nearly 45% said sales rose by over 15%, while 27% reported a more than 25% increase in H&BA sales.
