Executive Summary
CFSAN will hold a briefing with the press on May 3 at 2:30 p.m. to discuss its FY 2004 priority list, FDA announces. Phthalates and titanium dioxide are highlighted as priorities for the Office of Cosmetics & Colors. Cosmetic ingredient labeling also is included. Separately, while FDA plans to propose an updated ingredient regulation, the agency has not committed to recognizing the adopted and INCI names in the 10th edition of the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association's International Cosmetic Ingredient Dictionary, as reported in "The Rose Sheet" April 26, 2004, p. 3.
