Executive Summary
Swedish pharmaceutical company Medivir (infectious diseases) has licensed Chiron exclusive worldwide rights to MIV-150, a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI) in development for HIV infection. The companies will develop the drug together through the initiation of clinical trials, which are expected to begin in late 1999.
