Executive Summary
Taisho and Toyama will form a joint venture, Taisho Toyama Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd., that will market both companies' pharmaceutical products in Japan. The companies will also ally to broaden Taisho's prescription drug business and strengthen Toyama as an R&D company.
