IRhythm Technologies brings in $10mm through its Series B round

Executive Summary
IRhythm Technologies Inc. (cardiovascular monitoring devices) has raised just over $10mm through its Series B venture round. St. Jude Medical Inc. led and was joined by current shareholders Mohr Davidow Ventures and Synergy Life Science Partners and two other undisclosed investors. The company will use the proceeds to launch its Zio patch to provide continuous cardiac monitoring of ambulatory patients over a 14-day period. Concurrent with the financing, iRhythm announced a co-promotion agreement with St. Jude for the Zio patch and Zio event card, a cardiac rhythm monitor.
