Executive Summary
To add integrated chemistry and structural proteomics platforms to its existing strengths in population genetics and target discovery, deCode genetics signed an agreement to acquire MediChem Life Sciences (drug discovery and development services firm). The deal will be an exchange of stock, tax-free to MediChem owners, worth about $82.4mm.
